This product is excellent for gaming and as a desktop replacement, the spec is high for the price and is a good buy.
I bought this as a replacement for my old worn out laptop and search for a long time before finally finding this at a reasonable price and the spec that I wanted.The 3d Graphics card is what really sold it and in addition the 4GB memory and core duo has made this laptop very fast.
The HDMI out is exceptional although it doesn't have blue ray player, which is a down fall really.all other aspects of it are great it looks good feels good and the widescreen gives it the abitity to have it's own numberpad which is great and saves alot of time.

Toshiba Satellite L350-12N

Really loved this laptop, it is cheap, has a fairly large screen and has some pretty cool extra features which I shall get on to later in the review. This is just going to be a quick (ish) review as going out soon.
Compared to other laptops, this is impressively fast, probably due to it's Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor T2370. It runs on windows vista, which seems to be faster than earlier windows. It is quite light, being only 3.15 kg and is quite small enough to carry round and fits in most bags. It has a width of 398mm, a depth of 292mm and a height at the front of 35.3mm and 43.1mm at the back.The screen is 17in (larger than many laptops) and it has a fairly good battery . It also has built in sterospeakers. It also has a  Multi drive. These features mean it is ideal for putting a movie on when you're out and about and bored of doing your work.
The laptop has an integrated microphone and webcam , making it ideal for making video calls from as well allowing for a pretty cool face-regognition software for log-on, removing the need for a password, this saves me an incredibly vital 2 seconds. :p. Although I suppose if you add it up...All in all this is a better than average and fairly cheap laptop which is well worth buying.

Toshiba Satellite L500

The Toshiba Satellite L500 is the same as most other toshiba laptops. It looks stylish and can do all the basic functions that you would want for a laptop. However, when you use it, you dont feel very comfortable because it feels very cheap. The keyboard is very flimsy and feels like it is about to break every time you type something and the mouse pad and buttons do not respond well. However, the number pad on the right hand side of the keyboard is great as it makes it so easy to type numbers. You can buy this   laptop with a range of processors and sizes of harddrive so you can choose the one which suits you best. The display is actually very good but the battery life could have been improved. On my model it will last for a maximum of 2.5 hours on its lowest power setting.
Overall, this laptop is reasonable at most things but not excellent in any of them. I also own a hp pavillion dv6500 which i bought for £50 more (over 2 years ago) and it is so much better (faster/easier to use/more enjoyable to use). I think the L500 has been designed to be a  laptop for people who are about to buy their first laptop and will have to get used to using one as it is so easy to use. So if you are looking for a more specialised laptop, the L500 is not for you.
